Jesse Boland

Towers and Trees

Hailing from Victoria, BC Canada, Jesse has been smashing cymbals and denting drum skins since he was 9 years old. Growing up with his music minister father, Jesse quickly developed a musical sensibility and sensitivity that was put to use at a very young age. Jesse spent the next decade honing and developing his passion for drums, playing in churches and conferences from Victoria all the way to St. John's, Newfoundland.  As music started to become an integral part of his life, Jesse struck out to find more avenues to pursue his musical aspirations. In the fall of 2012 he was introduced to a new project called Towers and Trees, who happened to be looking for a drummer for their upcoming CD release show. It's now 2 years, a western Canadian tour, a dozen festivals, and a Top 20 spot in Vancouver's "The Peak Performance Project" talent competition later, and Towers and Trees have become a recognizable name in BC's up-and-coming indie rock bands. Their debut full length album is due to be released in early 2015. The newest addition to Jesse's resume is touring with Juno and GMA nominated gospel artist Fraser Campbell. He also plays with Victoria based singer-songwriter Mike Edel.
